October Young Members 6 Hole Ambrose Event

Put a team together and play in our FREE Young Member 6 Hole Ambrose Event on Sunday 6th October 2024.

Open to all Warragul Country Club Junior & Under 25 Golf Members, the event will be a fun day out with some great prizes up for grabs.

Date: Sunday 6th October 2024
Time: 1:30pm registration for a 2:00pm tee time
Entry Fee: FREE entry
Teams: Teams of 4 (plus an adult Member assigned as a “Team Captain”)
Golf Event: 6 Hole Ambrose Big Hole Golf

How to play Ambrose:
Each player hits off the tee, the best shot is selected and all other players pick up their ball and place it, within one handspan, alongside the best ball. Each person then hits a second shot from the same spot. The best shot is again selected. This continues until the ball is in the hole. On the putting green the best ball is marked and the other balls are played from this position.

Don’t stress if you can’t get a team together, or have an official handicap, the Pro Shop Team will allocate one on the day for you.

After the 6 holes, teams will meet in the Clubhouse (approximately 4pm), for presentations and complimentary food and beverages. The event will conclude at approximately 4.30pm/5pm. Parents are more than welcome to attend.
