2024 Gippsland Super 6 Tournament Announcement

The Warragul Country Club is proud to host the 2024 Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia’s Gippsland Super 6 tournament from Monday 9th December to Sunday 15th December. This premier event not only showcases professional golf with players competing for $200,000 in prize money but also elevates our Club’s profile, supports community engagement, and provides significant commercial opportunities. The tournament includes four rounds, with the final two days broadcast live on Foxtel, delivering extensive exposure for our Club, partners, and sponsors. Additional highlights include a Pro-Am, Junior Pro-Am, and golf clinics leading up to the main event. We are excited to welcome Members, guests, and local businesses to join us for an unforgettable week of world-class golf right here in Gippsland.

Ladies ‘Sips on the Green’

Join us on Friday, 13th December 2024, for Sips on the Green, a fabulous ladies’ afternoon celebrating connection, indulgence, and inspiration. Brought to you by Valley GWM, this event offers a glass of bubbles on arrival, a delectable grazing table, and Victorian wine tastings. Our special guest speaker, Jasmine Ferguson, a local Warragul resident, professional AFLW athlete, will share her inspiring journey. Tickets are $60 per head, and spaces are limited, so don’t miss this chance to be part of an unforgettable afternoon with women from across the Gippsland community. Knockout Marquee

You can now book your spot at the Knockout Marquee on the Saturday and/or Sunday of the competition. Positioned behind the 18th green, this marquee provides an excellent vantage point to witness the thrilling knockout stages of the competition. Tournament ProAm

The Tournament Pro-Am on Wednesday, 11th December, offers an exclusive opportunity for amateur golfers to play alongside professionals participating in the Gippsland Super 6. Held at the Warragul Country Club, this event allows participants to experience the course under tournament conditions, providing a unique blend of competition and camaraderie. It’s an excellent chance for local golfers and enthusiasts to engage directly with the sport at a professional level, enhancing their appreciation and understanding of the game.

Whether you’re just starting out or honing your skills, this event is a fantastic way to connect, learn, and have some fun on the green. Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet some amazing pros and get a few tips along the way!

2023 Gippsland Super 6 Winner – Kerry Mountcastle

Congratulations to Kerry Mountcastle of New Zealand for taking the title of the 2023 Gippsland Super 6 Tournament. Special mention to runner-up Jake Mcleod, 3rd place Jak Carter & 4th place Joseph Owen. The Gippsland Super 6 saw some of Australia’s best golfers come to the Warragul Country Club for a weeks long festival of golf. There was plenty of activities across the week, from the Pro-lead Junior Pro-Am, our first GS6 Women’s Networking Lunch & the Saturday & Sunday Knockout Marquee.
