Our Coaching Philosophy
Our Coaching philosophy is to provide individual attention and instruction on all aspects of your game. With years of golf coaching experience, we have been exposed to many different coaching theories and methods.
We recognise that everyone has different physical attributes and abilities and we accommodate these in our coaching. Our teaching style is friendly, simple, patient and positive. Golf can be a difficult game and it is our job to make learning it as simple as possible.
Our goal as golf coaches is to assist our pupils with furthering their golfing skills and their enjoyment of the game.
Individual Coaching
1 Hour Private Golf Lesson $100
30 Minute Private Golf Lesson $60
*3 x 30 Minute Private Golf Lessons $150
Golf Lessons are conducted 7 Days a week and can be conducted either in our indoor teaching area or on the Club’s practice fairway. Initial lesson includes a 15-minute interview outlining golfing goals and history. A full golf club evaluation is available during lessons upon request. Video Analysis is available using Trackman Software.
On Course Lessons
On Course 9 hole lesson $150
On Course lessons involve more than swing analysis. On Course lessons include shot selection, strategy, course management and psychology. During the session your strengths and weaknesses can be evaluated to enhance your learning program. On-Course Lessons are available by appointment on most days including late afternoon in daylight saving time. On Course Lessons may be split among 1, 2 or 3 players.
Beginners Golf Classes
4 X 1 Hour Clinics from $150
Beginner/ refresher classes are designed as an ideal introduction to Golf basics as well as a refresher for those looking to get back into the game. These Clinics introduce basic fundamentals, rules and etiquette in a relaxed and enjoyable format to those of similar abilities. Equipment is supplied at no extra fee and group sizes are kept to a minimum. Register below for our upcoming beginner golf clinic.
Ladies Clinics
Ladies Beginner Clinics are available upon request and held at different times throughout the year. These clinics are a fantastic way to introduce yourself or your friends to the game of golf. Our friendly, easy approachable Professionals will ensure you have an enjoyable experience in learning the basic fundamentals to begin your golfing experience.
Junior Golf Clinics & Squads
Junior Clinics are conducted regularly throughout the year. We run a weekly clinic which is ideally suited for children between the ages of 8 to 15 years of age. Each clinic is conducted by one of our PGA Professionals and run in a fun, safe, friendly manner.
Junior Development Squad
Upon completing the initial junior clinics we run a more specific program for kids wanting to get better at the game. The Development Squad aims to introduce kids to becoming members of the golf club with knowledge in many areas to be competent in progressing to competing in competitions etc. The Development Squad runs mostly year round.

Lee Dawes
Head Teaching Professional
Lee is a Certified PGA of Australia Member, Advanced in Golf Coaching under the PGA further development program. Having played events on the Australasian PGA Tour, Lee has great knowledge in what it takes to play at the highest level. He is passionate about improving golfers enjoyment on the golf course by playing better golf.
Craig McIntosh
Teaching Professional
Craig is a Certified PGA of Australia Member, and moved here from Yarra Yarra Golf Club where he was a highly regarded golf coach. He has great knowledge in the art of Golf Coaching and is very passionate about our junior programme and getting more beginners into this great game.
Heath Jones
Director of Golf
Heath was awarded the 2011-12 Victorian PGA Golf Operations Professional of the Year and was a finalist in the Golf Manager of the year in 2020. He has been a full member of the Australian PGA since 2001 and is currently a Certified Professional PGA of Australia member. Heath has worked at such clubs as Royal Adelaide, The Heritage and Riversdale Golf Clubs.
