Today we celebrated the Val Barrass Trophy, a tribute to one of our club’s most remarkable members. Val Barrass was a formidable competitor, winning the Women’s Club Championships an incredible 14 times. Her name proudly appears on the honour boards for all the major events on our calendar – a true testament to her skill and dedication.
 
Beyond her achievements on the green, Val was admired for her gracious demeanor and unwavering commitment to the Club. In recognition of her outstanding contribution, she was awarded Life Membership in 2012, an honour she so richly deserved.
 
Congratulations to today’s winners: Sandy Heenan and Annette Kingston, who take home the Val Barrass Trophy with pride!

George Lowe Trophy 2025

A huge congratulations to Mark and Kellie Phillips for taking home the 2025 George Lowe Trophy yesterday after a fantastic 2/1 victory over Brett Thompson & Paula Williams.

The George Lowe Trophy, running since 1965, honors the legacy of George Lowe, a club professional from 1946 to 1968 who played an integral role in the original design of the course.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a success!

All Warragul Country Club Members have the chance to win one of two $500 BCF Gift Cards for the month of March.

To redeem your daily entry ticket to go into the draw to win the March Member Rewards prize, Members must.

  1. Swipe your card at the Member Rewards Kiosk upon entry at the Club to print and receive your entry ticket (one entry available from the Kiosk everyday).
  2. Place your entry ticket into the letterbox labelled member Rewards” located in the foyer.

The promotion is conducted from 9am on Saturday 1st March 2025 to 11.59pm on Monday 31st March 2025. The prize draw is conducted at the Warragul Country Club on Tuesday 1st April 2025 at 9am.
