Urgent Call for Volunteers

We are asking any members who might be available to help out the course staff with the clean up required after the storms of Thursday night and Friday morning. 

If you have a spare couple of hours on Saturday morning from 8:00am, and you have a rake, we could use your assistance to remove all the fallen debris that lines the fairways and surrounds. 

For those with a ute or access to a trailor, that would be a great help also. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Celebrate Melbourne Cup Day Here!

Celebrate Melbourne Cup Day at the Warragul Country Club! 🏆

With increased patron limits, our Club is ready to welcome you back with open arms to celebrate the race that stops the nation on Tuesday 2nd November!

Ahead of the big day, we have a few messages:

• Patron limits have been removed and we are back to normal!
• Our TAB, Bar, Lounge and Terrace will be open.
• The race will be shown live on the big screens.
• A Café snack menu will be available. Unfortunately due to staff shortages, our Bistro menu will not be offered on this day (but our new bistro menu will be launched from Wednesday!) 
• Golf will be operating as usual.

Bookings are strongly advised.

Jarrod Lyle Day

Challenge, the PGA of Australia and Golf Australia united to create an annual fundraising campaign that could be enjoyed by the entire golf community. Each year, #DoingItForJarrod culminates in a special Yellow Day at the Australian PGA Championship.

Jarrod was an ambassador for Challenge and #DoingItForJarrod continues Jarrod’s legacy of helping Challenge provide practical support throughout a child’s cancer journey.

Now in its third year, the 2021 #DoingItForJarrod campaign will be held throughout the months of August to December and holds added significance as this year would have been Jarrod’s 40^th birthday.

Warragul Country Club will be holding their day on Saturday 6th November and we are asking golfers to dress with a touch of yellow on the day to help honour Jarrod.

Our Club is Back to Normal!

Without sounding like a broken record… WE ARE BACK! And with a few exciting announcements. 

Our venue is thrilled to announce patron caps have been removed and we will be back to normal from Friday 29th October! 🎉

The Club has the following announcements:

• Our Café and Lounge areas will be reopening on Melbourne Cup Day, this Tuesday 2nd November.
• We have a NEW Summer Menu launching on Wednesday 3rd November including a combination of some faithful favourites and new dishes ready for the warmer weather ahead. (Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram for some sneak peeks!).
• Functions and Events will be returning just in time for end of year celebrations!
• NEW Smokers Room Extension in the Gaming Room is scheduled for launch on Wednesday 10th November. Our venue will be closed on Monday 8th November in preparation for this.

We thank you for your patronage and understanding during the past 18 months, and look forward to getting our Club back to the vibrant social destination it is.

Golf Introductory Clinics

Whether you are a beginner new to golf or looking to improve your game, our upcoming Introductory Clinics are the perfect opportunity to brush up on your skills!

Taught by one of our Club’s PGA Pros, this Clinic is the perfect opportunity to learn the basics of golf and meet some new friends in a friendly social environment at the Warragul Country Club. 

Clinic Information:

Four (4) one hour weekly sessions starting Monday 8th November. Clinics are available on:

Mondays, 10:00am – 11:00am

Mondays, 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Wednesdays, 5:30pm – 6:30pm

$25 per session or get 20% off with an upfront fee of $80.
