Conditions of Play: The player listed on top of the draw sheet should normally take responsibility for initiating contact to arrange the match. However, there is nothing wrong with any player making contact with their opponent

The draw lists a Final Day for each round including the final. Competitors should arrange to play their match on or prior to this date. Should the match not be played by the Final Day, the player who presents themselves at the Pro-shop ready to play between 11.30am 12.00 midday will be awarded the match if their opponent does not show.
If both players present themselves ready to play, the match will take place thereafter, otherwise the next round opponent will be awarded a walkover.
If the match is still tied after 18 holes the game continues as sudden death from the first hole, until a hole is won. Strokes are taken using the Match Index. Players may mutually agree to re-convene the match if there is insufficient light or other unforeseen circumstances.
In the event that a match is stopped before its conclusion by a cancellation of play, if less than 6 holes have been completed, the match will be cancelled, the score disregarded and the match replayed at a later date.The result must be recorded on the results sheet on the Notice Board at the conclusion of the match.
– The player’s daily handicap used will be the one available from the Pro-shop on the day of play.
– Matchplay event using the Match Index from the scorecard to determine holes where strokes are given. The player with the higher handicap is given a stroke(s) on the holes listed on Match Index equal to the difference the two player’s handicaps. For example if Player A is off 10 and player B off 22, player B is given a stroke on the holes marked as 1 to 12 on the Match Index.
